Honouring Utomi at 60: Nigerian Arts Group to Hold Exhibition Tomorrow

The Nigerian Arts Group has announced that an art exhibition and lecture will hold tomorrow 24th February 2016 in honour of the 60th birthday of Prof. Pat Utomi.

The event which will hold at the Nigerian Institute for
International Affairs (NIIA), Victoria Island, Lagos at 12 noon is a joint initiative of both Pat Kairos Consult and Pat Kairos Gallery.

Describing Prof. Utomi as ‘Legendary role model, intellectual guru, inspirational leader and youth development promoter in Africa and beyond’, the organisers urge art lovers to attend the program.
“It is our belief that such exposure would inspire the participants to become arts and integrity ambassadors who would start encouraging Nigerian children and youths to strive to bring glory to Nigeria in future through
various aspects of the arts and leading lives worthy of emulation.” the group stated.
Expected at the event are; Prof. Anya O. Anya, OFR, NNOM; while the Keynote Speech is to be delivered by Mr. Oscar Onyema, OON (CEO,Nigeria Stock Exchange). Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, OON will
serve as the Special Guest of Honour and Engr. Vincent I. Maduka, OFR will deliver the Goodwill Message.
Also, Architect T. C. Awagu and Mrs. Nkechi Obi, MON will serve as Father and Mother of the Day respectively; amongst several other local and foreign dignitaries.
Prof. Pat Utomi is the Founder/CEO, Centre for Values in Leadership, a not-for-profit organization with the mission of building a body of values-driven leaders by empowering young people with leadership skills and values that will enable them make lasting contributions in every sphere of life.
