NLI’s 5th Christopher Kolade Symposium took place at the Sun Hall, Four Points by Sheraton, Oniru Chieftaincy Estate, Victoria Island,Lagos on 21 November 2013.
Themed: DEVELOPMENT AGENDA: LEADERSHIP, the Symposium focused on the analytics of leadership and the best ways of enriching the discourse on making leadership more effective in Nigeria. It was organized in honour of NLI’s Founding Patron, Dr. Christopher Kolade, whose achievements in both public and private spheres, as well as his personal example have set a high benchmark for outstanding citizenship.
Speakers at the event were: Rt. Honourable Aminu Tambuwal, Speaker of the House of Representatives, represented by Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Minority Whip, House of Representatives, Governor Babatunde Fashola, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Atedo Peterside, Chairman, Stanbic IBTC Holdings represented by Mr Demola Shogunle, CEO, Stanbic IBTC Pensions.The Symposium was moderated by Mrs. Ayo Obe, Fmr. President, Civil Liberties Organization.
