Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has promised to do everything possible to make life more comfortable for Lagosians.
Ambode, who said this on a state tour of Lagos roads, stated that he would not accept anything that could make life unbearable for the people.
He said the slow pace of work by the contractor handling Igiolugbin and some inner roads at Bariga was discouraging and unacceptable.
He told the contractor to make lgiolugbin road ready by December, and the remaining two inner roads ready by January ending.
Governor Ambode said in three months, Ipaja Ayobo road in Alimosho would be completed, adding that permanent solution would be found to traffic gridlock on the Lagos-Abeokuta road.
Ambode also inspected Camp Davids, Ayobo, where he said construction would commenced immediately.
At Brown street,Oshodi, the governor said work would commence on the road within seven days, urging traders not to display their wares on the streets, as task force operatives would be on ground to monitor them.
Present at the tour, were government officials, local government’ s executive secretaries and lawmakers from state House of Assembly.
