Buhari hands over Presidential Lodge to Lagos government

President Muhammadu Buhari has given over the Presidential Lodge at Marina to the Lagos State government.

Mr. Buhari’s motion took after a demand by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to have the cabin discharged to the Lagos State Government in its offer to change the Marina-Onikan hub into a world-class expressions and tourism center point.

The president’s endorsement was imparted in a letter marked by his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, to Mr. Ambode.

In an announcement on Sunday marked by Lagos State’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Steve Ayorinde, Mr. Ambode said the president’s signal was an exhibition of his “sharp appreciation for Lagos State as the Center of Excellence that is appropriate to turning into Africa’s chief center point for expressions, stimulation and tourism”.
