Journalist and Public Affairs Analyst, Charles Edeho, has lauded the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari to recover money looted from the public account by political office holders.
Speaking on an EKO FM Programme in Ikeja, Edeho said if the money involved was injected into the economy it would better the lots of average Nigerians.
According to him, the measure was a good thing, but President Buhari needed to solicit the support and the co-operation of all well meaning Nigerians to be able to recover the stolen money.
Edeho pointed out that those involved in the ignominous act had formed a cabal and had amassed wealth to the extent that they could use their ill-gotten money to fight back with a view to frustrating the president’s effort.
The journalist cum public affairs Analyst said it was ironical to note that the wealth of the nation was in few hands and was responsible for the slow pace of the country’s economy.
