CBN to auction 814.78B naira in treasury bills

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says it plans to auction 814.78B Naira in Treasury bills between September. 17 to December 3.

According to the bank’s data, it will auction Two Hundred and Fifteen point fourteen billion Naira worth of the three month paper, One Hundred and Nineteen-three point sixty-four billion Naira in the six month debt and Four and six billion Naira worth of one year paper.

It said that the total debt proposed for the fourth quarter would be six point sixty-six per cent short of the Eight Hundred and sevety-two point ninty-six billion Naira raised earlier in the year.
