CCAC presents award to Speaker Lagos State House of Assembly

The Christian Coalition Against Corruption, CCAC, has presented an award to the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa.

The National President of CCAC, Bishop Dr Francis Shopekan commended Speaker Obasa for his ‘consistency in the House and achievements as the Chairman of the House Committee on Budget and Economic Planning.’

Bishop (Dr.) Francis Shopekan said the Speaker, must have impacted on his constituency before they decided to vote for him consistently.

Obasa thanked the group for honouring him with the award which he dedicated to the entire Lagos Assembly.

He promised that the state assembly will ensure that public and civil servants in Lagos State comply with all financial regulations to guide against corruption.
