Two decades after prominent actress Dakore Akande and Ace comedian Gbadewonuola Oyelakin a.k.a Teju Babyface left Corona Schools, both celebrities have returned to their alma mater-to join others in celebrating its sixtieth anniversary and chart a new path for the school.
Recounting their experience in Corona many years back, Dakore and Babyface both of who belonged to the eighty-eight and nineties set, urged parents to pay more attention to education of their wards at the basic level.
Babyface, said the strong foundation they had in the school, helped them to soar higher at the secondary, tertiary levels, and the entertainment circuit.
Dakore said Basic education was one thing parents should invest in, saying it was amazing that Corona School reputed for integrity, standard, and discipline, had kept to values over its three scores existence.
