Corp Member Empowers Women and Children

Rukayat Adejoke Adewoye a corp member with state code number KD/13B/0536 serving in Kaduna State.

As part of her contribution to the development of the community where she’s serving her fatherland, Adewoye has carried out personal community project for her host community where she’s serving at present.

969991_740975949267842_1365281398030934970_nThe project includes empowerment training for the women in the locality, distribution of school uniforms and writing materials to the students in the community is meant to bring positive changes and succor to the ways of life of the people.

Other projects include distribution of treated mosquito nets, a playlet to sensitize the people on girl-child education were held at community primary school.

The community women who were trained on how to make liquid soap for personal and commercial purposes were full of gratitude to Miss Rukayat Adejoke for given them the training.

The Disease Control Officer from the state Ministry of Health, Monday Linus who represented the Commissioner of Health at the event expressed appreciation to young Adewoye for bringing such initiative to the community, “we appreciate Miss Adewoye who has come and done these wonderful things to our community and we cannot forget her because of what she has done to our children, women and the community at large” he said.

Linus further urged the children and community women to ensure that they utilise to maximum effect the skills they learnt, adding that they must ensure that there surrounding is clean and their foods are well prepare to prevent them from contacting diseases.

Adewoye appreciated all the women for coming out for the training, she also thanked the primary and secondary school authorities for providing the platform to talk to the students and to distribute to them writing materials.
