Diamond Bank Simplifies Means of Payment Transaction Via mPOS Machine

Beyond the basic function of using Point of Sales machine, Diamond Bank Plc has intensified its efforts to make processes of payment easy, safe and convenient with the introduction of Mobile Point of Sale Machine for her customers.

The Mobile Point of Sale Machine is a mobile point of sale (mPOS) application which allows Diamond Bank merchants receive and accept card payment with the use of their mobile phone and a portable card reader.

Explaining the benefits of using mPOS service, the Head of Emerging Business at Diamond Bank, Esumeju Njideka said that the product has various benefits that allow small business owners to make means of payment simple for their customers.

Njideka highlighted the benefits of the products to be faster, easier, secure and convenient payment process, increases revenues from sales, improved customer service and easy to use and carry about.

She also said that it is good for inventory management, easy to use and carry about (very portable), able to generate e-receipts – receivable by SMS or email, manage both card and cash payment, low cost on device, easier reconciliation of returned goods, convenience of sales on the go leading to increase in revenues and data opportunity for consumer behavioural analysis.

The machine, which is in form of calculator can work with smartphone, tablet or dedicated wireless device that performs the functions of a point of sale terminal (POS) and a cash register.
