- Advertisment -

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state has accused his predecessor,  Kayode Fayemi of  betraying his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its leader, Bola Tinubu who helped him to power.

Fayose noted that Fayemi has been ostracized by those who assisted him to office because he has betrayed all of them, including Tinubu.

Fayose was reacting to the ex-governor’s interview in some dailies where he stated that his legacy was being destroyed by the current administration in the state.

Fayose, in a statement by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka said Fayemi had become politically irrelevant and that was why his erstwhile political godfather, Bola Tinubu dumped him.

Fayose stated  that it was necessary for Fayemi’s negative legacies to be destroyed and that even in the APC, his legacy of betrayal of Tinubu is being destroyed.
