The Expanded Social Marketing Project ( ESMPIN) project team recently paid an advocacy visit to the Wife of Kastina State Governor, Hajiya Hadiza Aminu Bello Masari at the end of a sustainability planning workshop which was geared towards finding innovative ways of sustaining the project when the funding ends in Katsina State.
They also made it a point of duty to decorate Her Excellency as the Grand Patron of Community Based Distribution Agent (CBDA) Network in Kastina State.
The group is much interested in sensitizing various stakeholders especially the CBDAs and strengthen the networks formed in the 64 LGAs. There is also interest in intervention on continuing the social marketing business with SFH and establishing links with Government and other agencies to supply health products to the under-served communities in the four states.
Participants were drawn from the CBDAs networks, CBO partners, SFH Territorial offices that service the CBD states (Sokoto, Kano and Kaduna), PHC department of intervention LGAs and state Ministries of health.
The workshop took place on 31st August at Zamfara, 2nd September at Kebbi, 4th September at Katsina and 6th of September 2015 at Jigawa state. SFH Detailers serving the four CBD states that were in attendance outlined the modalities for post implementation supply system with the CBDAs Networks.
