Human Rights Activist supports Buhari’s resolve to probe his political opponents

Human Rights Activist, Sulaiman Arigbabu has faulted those crying that the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari to probe the corrupt political office holders was meant to witch hunt his political opponents.

Speaking on an Eko Fm programme in Ikeja Arigbabu said the probe was not to witch hunt anybody, but to correct the past adding that those political office holders that did not have skeleton in their cupboard needed not to fear.

He said what baffled him most was that these political office holders did this shameful act of stealing government money with effrontery and with the hope and believe that they would only go to jail for six months or one year only to come back to enjoy their ill-gotten wealth and in some cases got State pardon.

He therefore urged President Mohammadu Buhari to go ahead with the probe and make sure that he recovered all the public fund looted and prosecute and sent the Culprits to jail to serve as deterrent to others.
