KADIPA had its first outing with the successful maiden edition of the Kaduna Economic and Investment Summit (KADInvest), but the work of attracting private business to Kaduna is only at the beginning.

The team at KADIRS cannot be in any doubt that our state has to generate and collect more revenue. We need to speed up the good work going on in KADGIS, provide valid title documents and end the irresponsible racketeering in land that did not spare even school land.”

With these words, Kaduna State Governor Nasiru El Rufa’i underscored the relevance of the three parastatals that GEMS3 is supporting.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the boards of five parastatals: the Kaduna State Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA); the Kaduna State Facilities Management Agency (KADFAMA); the Kaduna State Geographic Information Service (KADGIS); the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) and the Kaduna State Bureau of Pensions (KADBOP).

After reviewing the poor state of the state’s economy, Governor El-Rufa’i urged the men and women selected to serve on the boards to  work hard to “prepare the state for the challenges of today and the opportunities and expectations of tomorrow.”

Among those inaugurated today at the Government House are Aisha Mujaddadi, State Manager Kaduna as Board Member, Kaduna Internal Revenue Service.
