Lagos Government Set to Host Service Charter Week

With the top effort of creating quality and essential services for people living in Lagos, the state government is set to host this year Service Charter Week.

The program that is starting with a media briefing on May 11th and other activities is an initiative of previous administration for the government to provide quality services to customers and other ministries, departments, extra-ministerial departments and agencies has taken up as part of a performance management framework.

The policy encourages continuous improvement in service delivery by promoting transparency, accountability and responsiveness which enable citizens to get involved in setting and monitoring service delivery, and to demand that service standards are met.

Some of the activities lined up include paper presentation, interactive Q&A sessions amongst the Permanent Secretaries, CEO’s, MD’s of LASG Health facilities, LASG Staff, Civil Society Organisations, and the General Public.
