The Lagos State House of Assembly has adopted the amendment of Code of Ethics as presented by its committee.
Chairman of the committee, Rotimi Abiru representing Somolu TWO, who presented the report, said holistic approach which cuts across essential government functionalities, departments and office was adopted to come up with the comprehensive report.
Abiru said provisions of the new ethics enjoined members to exhibit public conduct and decorum by addressing each other formally in public, to foster mutual respect as well as develop good working relationships with the staff of the Assembly.
The members were also implored to comply with all the security procedures of the House and conduct themselves during legislative business.
