Lagos outlines activities for independence day celebration

In anticipation of the forthcoming National Independence Day Celebration, the Lagos State Government has lined up activities to celebrate the National Day, being the first of the administration of Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, the Governor of Lagos State.

Activities already earmarked include a special Jumat Service on Friday, the 25th of September, 2015, at the Secretariat Mosque, Alausa Ikeja. This will be followed with an Interdenominational Church Service on Sunday, 27th September, 2015, at the Chapel of Christ, The Light, Alausa, Ikeja.

The grand finale will be the Independence National Parade by the Nigerian Police, other uniformed Federal and State agencies and school children. The parade is schedule to hold on Thursday, 1st of October, 2015, at the Police College Ground, Oba Akinjobi way, Ikeja At 10am.
