The State Government has expressed deep concern over the attitude of traders and mini-buses operation on environmental Degradation of Oshodi ocasioned by illegal street trading and indiscriminate habit on the road thereby creating heavy traffic for the other road users.

The permanent Secretary ministry of environment Oluwatoyin Onisarotu, stated this during an assessment tour of the area, noting that the area had been littered with refuse dump, human waste, illegal shanties and stores illegal motor packs, street trading and noise pollution.

Onisarotu emphasis that the State remain unwavering in its commitment to a clean hygienic flood free environment.
