The myriad of challenges that the Business Community in Nigeria is contending with are surmountable.
Governor Akinwumi Ambode said this in Lagos at the third quarterly council meeting of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Mines and Agriculture, NACCIMA.
Ambode noted that among the challenges were epileptic power supply, inadequate infrastructure, high interest and foreign exchange rate among others.
The Governor said in the first few months of the new administration, there have been massive improvement in electricity supply, fuel distribution and enhanced investors confidence which have ushered in a new hope for a better Nigeria.
Earlier, National President of the Association, Bassey Edem appealed to the Federal Government to urgently make available the road map for the diversification of the economy to tackle the implication of dwindling income from crude oil.
He also urged the Government to tackle corruption effectively as this would lead the country to an enviable height.
