The Executive Secretary of Agbado Oke-Odo Local Government Developing Area, LCDA, of Lagos State, Engineer David Famuyiwa, has appealed to the people of the area to obey the Laws of the State by paying their taxes as and when due as well as abide to the sanitation laws.
Famuyiwa, who made the appeal recently while on an inspection tour of the Oja-Oba Market in the LCDA, noted that traders within the market need to clean their surroundings and abide by the rules of environmental sanitation as government would no longer condone any act of indiscipline and dirtiness in the market.
The Executive Secretary cautioned the traders against display of wares on the roads as this would impact negatively on the environment as it would disrupt free flow of traffic, adding that any trader that disobeys government rules and regulations would be sanctioned appropriately.
He reiterated that the Ward B Primary Health Centre located within the market would be renovated and upgraded with a view to providing better health services to the people.
