Oliseh dismisses Obiazor and Ogbonnaya from Eagles camp

Head Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh, has dismissed David Obiazor and Nelson Ogbonnaya from the Super Eagles’ camp, as they have succumbed to injuries.

Heartland FC Goalkeeper Obiazor and centre-back Ogbonnaya, were in the list of twenty-three home-based professional players invited by Oliseh, but the coach will now call up two other players from the League to replace the injured players.

According to the coach, the players were nursing injury and after being examined by the medical staff, it was agreed that they should be allowed to rest for some time and return to their clubs.

Oliseh has also called up eighteen foreign based professional players for the game against Tanzania, which will take place at the National Stadium, Dar es Salaam on Saturday, September 5.
