In a recent meeting with NewTelegraph, Nollywood performing artist Omotola Jalade unveils reasons why President Muhammadu Buhari ought to cancel the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

As indicated by the information from the meeting, the Nollywood TV superstar said that the NYSC plan is no more helpful for the our times, and subsequently, ought to be discontinued.

In her reasons, she said, “I have taken a look at the project altogether and precisely what it should have accomplished throughout the years. Trust me, there is no sound or unmistakable result. It’s an aggregate exercise in wasting assets and I think all the time and assets ought to be diverted into something more creative.”

“NYSC is not simply increasing the value of our general public or even to the lives of our kids. I am of the conclusion that it ought to be scrapped,” she included.

Be that as it may, Omotola recommended the presentation of abilities acquisition set up instead of the NYSC plan.

“Give us a chance to make great plans for our youngsters, rather than going to waste an entire year of their struggle, asserting they are serving their mother country. They ought to be prepared and empowered with abilities. That way, their future is secure,” she said.
