In its bid to transform and create a conducive environment for Lagosians, the state government has urged the people to support its developmental programmes.

Lagos State Deputy Governor, Idiat Adebule said this today while monitoring the environmental sanitation exercise in Ikorodu west Local Council Developemnt Area.

Adebule who inspected Oluwo Idikan Market, Liberty Road, Ishawo road, Agbede road among others, appealed to the people to be patient with the government, adding that the reconstruction of roads would be included in next year’s budget.

She therefore urged the Local Council Development Associations or LCDAs, in the area to continue to maintain the roads to serve as a palliative measure.

The Deputy Governor appealed to residents not to build houses or shops on drainage to forestall further blockage.
