The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, assured Nigerians on Twitter that the Gender and Equality Bill turned down by the Senate yesterday will be reintroduced.

This came after Nigerians on the social media platform, Twitter, expressed displeasure at the rejection of the Gender and Equal Opportunity Bill by the Senate.

Omojuwa was one of such Nigerians who considered the action of the Senate to be a setback for development. He said as much with his tweet.

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, replied to Omojuwas’s tweet promising that the setback of yesterday was not a permanent one. He promised that the Gender and Equal Opportunity Bill will be reintroduced. View his tweets below.
